Is Redfall on PS5? That is the question. However, we’ll let you know as well as everything else you need to know.
So, is Redfall on PS5?
The short answer to that question is no. The reason being, is that Redfall is developed by Arkane, the creators of Deathloop and Dishonored. What’s more, Arkane is published by Bethesda.
However, Bethesda is now owned by Microsoft, making all Bethesda games first-party console exclusives for Xbox. So in short, unless Microsoft decides otherwise, no Bethesda-published titles will be coming to PlayStation, which includes sci-fi RPG, Starfield as well as The Elder Scrolls VI.
What is Redfall?
Redfall is a co-op multiplayer, first-person shooter set in the fictional island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, USA. Following an experiment gone wrong, an army of undead vampires have swarmed the town and are quite literally, out for your blood!
It’s up to you, and your fellow survivors to slay all the vampires that not only threaten your home but quite possibly, the world. So, no pressure then!
Is Redfall open-world?
Kind of. While the town of Redfall is open-world, it’s not to the scale of something like GTA V or Elden Ring. However, Arkane has teased that the map of Redfall is the largest ever created by the developers.
The map will not only be filled with mainline story missions but also side-missions, NPC survivors to interact with, challenging boss encounters and much more. What’s more, if you want to take a respite from the blood-thirsty chaos, you can also chill in one of the designated safe hub areas.
How many characters are playable?
Redfall will have a total of four playable characters aka survivors at launch. Those include Devinder Crousley (cryptozoologist and inventor), Layla Ellison (a telekinetic student), Remi de la Rose (combat engineer), and finally, “supernatural” former US military forces sniper, Jacob Boyer.
Each of the four playable characters will not only bring their own unique skill sets to the vampiric war but will also have skill-tree systems to upgrade. Furthermore, two extra survivors will be available post-launch via the Redfall Hero Pass.
Can Redfall be played in single player?
Yes, despite primarily being a co-op game. Arkane has made it no secret that Redfall will be playable solo. However, regardless of whether you play solo or co-op, Redfall will require an online connection to play. Which totally sucks, and we hope this changes in the near future.
When is the Redfall release date?
