Resident Evil 4 remake demo players are getting chewed up by hard difficulty

The Resident Evil 4 Remake arrives in just over a week and with a demo recently released, fans have found a super secret challenging mode.

Resident Evil 4 is perhaps everybody’s most-anticipated release this month. With the Chainsaw demo released last week, players have been delving into the short (yet impactful) teaser. Although the demo only takes around 12 minutes to complete, fans have found another hidden mode.

With a code, you can unlock the secret Mad Chainsaw difficulty for the demo. This mode increases enemy health and damage output as well as changing up their spawn locations. Furthermore, the main boss, Dr Salvador will wield his chainsaw as well as the addition of fire.

How to activate the secret mode

Although some players have reported this mode appearing automatically, others have had to activate it themselves. How to do this was recently demonstrated by Youtube channel Jigzaw_ Killer.
