We saw more of Lord Sadler and the Los Illuminados, the minecart chase, glimpses of the Salazar Castle, and much more. However, most importantly, it seems that Matt the helicopter pilot has been confirmed.

In terms of enemies, we saw the El Gante duo battle, now with Luis Sera by your side, a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance of the Garrador, the Bella Sisters, as well as the infamous Jack Krauser.

What’s more, towards the end of the trailer, we get to see what looks to be the Cryogenic Lab, the location of the abomination known as the Regenerator/Iron Maiden. Yippie!

Furthermore, the Resident Evil 4 remake treats didn’t end there, because we got confirmation that The Mercenaries will arrive as post-launch free DLC. We’re also getting a “special” playable demo pre-launch.

In case you didn’t know, The Mercenaries is a time-based survival mode that requires the player to rack up combos with the best score and time possible. If the original RE4 Mercenaries is anything to go by, we’ll not only be unlocking extra characters and maps for this mode, but we’ll also be acquiring unlockables for the main campaign too.

As for the Resident Evil 4 playable demo, we don’t have dates or content details as of yet. However, if previous RE demos are anything to go by, it will give us plenty to sink our teeth into.
