Humanity gets a May release date

Developer Enhance has announced that their upcoming game Humanity will launch in May. The best part? You get to play as a Shiba Inu.

It has been revealed that the puzzle action–platformer Humanity will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via the PS Plus Extra and Premium service on May 16. It will also be available for standalone purchase for $30. Let’s take a look at what you can expect from this chaotic platformer.

Humanity will have a whole lot of chaos

Humanity will see players take on the role of the best of boys, a Shiba Inu. Blessed with the ability to control crowds, this dog can command people to do everything from run, jump, swim and take on a bunch of platformer challenges.

With around 90 stages to get through that will feature puzzles and obstacles, getting through them will unlock new elements that add further challenges to face. As well as this, the game features user-made challenges that will allow you to create your own stages.

The team at Developer Enhance thought a dog would be the best fit for this game. “Considering the relationship between dogs and humans in real life and the story we wanted to tell, it just felt natural.” The PlayStation blog post said. “If the humans in the game have lost their own will, mind, and soul, who would they want to follow without questioning it? A dog!”

VR Support

Additionally, Humanity is supported by PSVR, PSVR2 and PC VR headsets allowing you to live out your Shiba Inu dreams. The team behind Tetris Effect and Rez Infinite really knew what they were doing with this one.
