PlayStation Plus Titles For January Have Leaked, Here They Are

As usual, the titles for Playstation Plus have leaked ahead of schedule, showing PlayStation owners what they can download from next month. The leak came courtesy of Dealabs, which listed the titles earlier today. Here are the titles, although of course remember that this is a leak and should not be taken as official word until PlayStation itself makes the reveal.

Deep Rock Galactic

Interestingly, the biggest surprise this month is the inclusion of Deep Rock Galactic. Originally released on Xbox and PC, Deep Rock Galactic is a multiplayer FPS, which tasks players with exploring alien planets. The game has seen a massive amount of success through Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Service. Based on that, it’s no surprise that the game is launching straight onto PS+.

Persona 5 Strikers

Joining it is Persona 5 Strikers, which is an action-role playing game based on the popular Persona series. The spin-off removes the turn-based battles the series is well known for, and instead adapts a Dynasty Warriors approach. Players will fight hordes of enemies in real time, while also still taking advantage of a command menu which features special attacks.

Dirt 5

Lastly, Dirt 5 will also be available to Playstation Plus subscribers during January. Released last November, Dirt 5 is a simcade racer that focuses on off-road racing. Developed by Codemasters, the game channels the simulation elements of the popular Dirt Rally games, while adding arcadey elements that make it easier to pick up and play.

Deep Rock Galactic and Dirt 5 will be available on both PS4 and PS5. It’s unknown at this point what console optimisations Deep Rock Galactic will have, but it’s likely to feature crossplay between both consoles. Persona 5 Strikers will only be available on PS4, and will be accessible through the PS5’s backwards compatibility features.

Elsewhere, a new report has detailed how Microsoft added over £4,000 worth of games to Xbox Game Pass through 2021.
