The ‘Easy Mode’ PC mod for Elden Ring has become one of the most popular mods for the game, according to Nexus Mods [via Kotaku].
A modder by the name of ‘odashikonbu’ has created ‘Easy Mode for Elden Ring’. The mod does a few things to help make things a bit easier for players who are struggling, including reduced damage with increased attack, more healing flasks, and a wider multiplier for runes to collect.
The mod was first uploaded to NexusMods on March 12th, and has since seen almost 50,000 total downloads. If you sort by most downloaded mods for Elden Ring on Nexus, this actually makes it the fifth most popular download on the website for the game.
ELDEN RING EASY MODE – WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Obviously, Elden Ring is a difficult game to master. So it’s natural that some players may need a bit of a boost. We don’t regard it as cheating, though. Since the modifications it makes appear to be disabled online, that means the Easy Mode stuff actually only occurs while playing offline. Therefore, nobody’s experience is ruined.
If you’re looking for a more relaxed experience exploring Elden Ring’s beautiful landscapes, this mod may be the one for you. Sadly, this mod is for PC only. So console players are unfortunately left out of this for now.
