It looks like Deathloop, one of the most highly rated video games of 2021 could be getting its first piece of major DLC.
Earlier this week the official Twitter page of Deathloop made the tease that additional story content could be on the way for Arkane Studios’ time-bending first-person shooter.
“Everybody Hold On. Wenjie Is Working On Something In The Lab And Warned Us That We Might Lose An Hour.”
Obviously, the tweet is very vague, but it does seem to be teasing something. Otherwise, what is the point of the tweet? We can only speculate at this time as to what might be on the Deathloop horizon.
Of course, it was also the start of Daylight Savings in the United States on Sunday too. So it could just be a reference to that. But still, the tweet is ominous enough that there might be more content brewing.
In our review of Deathloop, we said: “Deathloop is the best game of the year. With the writing being an exemplary model of how to build a non-linear narrative structure, it goes down as a true classic even with all the pandemic hiccups that have occurred along the way.”
In recent Deathloop news, the critically acclaimed shooter is getting its own groovy art book published by Darkhorse Comics. Oh, and it even comes with a pair of far-out 3D glasses!
