Little Witch in the Woods is an incredibly adorable RPG that takes Stardew Valley and throws in a dash of magic.
Stardew Valley is obviously an incredibly popular game, but some might say that the farm life is too simple for them. Maybe they need something a bit more magical. Enter Little Witch in the Woods, a lovely looking RPG that just recently released in early access.
In Little Witch, you play as Ellie, an apprentice witch trying to get the hang of her magical powers. Of course, there are plenty of characters to meet. And it being a magical RPG, there are characters like an old magical ram, a crocodilian chef, and an otter that looks like it could be a postman.
what’s Little Witch like?
Like in Stardew Valley, you’ll need to gather materials, though for this game it’s to make potions. Judging from the early access trailer, and the game’s description on Steam, there are plenty of secrets to discover too. You can give gifts to the different characters in the game, and get closer to them if you pick the right one.
As mentioned, the game is in early access, so don’t expect everything to be in full working order. But in its current shape, it’s looking like it could be something quite special.
All of the art has an incredibly warm and relaxing tone to it, and the music has a wonderful amount of whimsy to it.
