As Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gets some new DLC tracks, fans have been wondering which ones could be coming next to the game.
The Nintendo Switch bestseller has now sold nearly 50 million copies, and with the addition of the new Booster Course Pass adding 48 new tracks to the game, it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
With that in mind, lots of Mario Kart fans are speculating on what the next wave could add to the game. Popular tracks such as Maple Treeway and Airship Fortress, to name a few, have been thrown into the discussion.
The same goes for Waluigi Pinball, a track that first appeared on Mario Kart DS. Fortunately, a Mario Kart modder has ported the track into the game and made a video on it. You can watch it below.
This video highlights what Waluigi Pinball could look like in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It seems this version of the track has been ported from Mario Kart Tour, as evidenced by the fact the karts are slightly larger in proportion to the track.
The Mario Kart Tour versions of classic retro tracks are also the versions Nintendo is using to bring to 8 Deluxe, so it makes sense that this is how the track might look if it’s brought to the Booster Course Pass.
Waluigi Pinball is a great track because of its theme; it begins with a cannonball shot to the top, followed by a series of winding turns and jumps, and ending with a challenging open area where you must avoid giant pinballs as you dash to the finish line. It’s a fantastic gauntlet.
If you ask me however, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version should incorporate more anti-gravity sections into the first part of this track.
