How long is the Resident Evil 4 Remake?

With the Resident Evil 4 Remake arriving this week with rave reviews already under its belt, here’s a look at how long it takes to complete.

How Long is the Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Despite being a remake of the original Resident Evil 4 released back in 2005, a lot of changes and plenty of things to do have slightly increased its run-time.

With the addition of side quests and new features, the Remake should take you around 16 hours to complete on standard difficulty. However, it is worth noting that if you are unfamiliar with the original, it could take you longer. With exploration and looting every nook and cranny, it could take you up to 20 hours.

How long would it take to get 100% completion?

For those achievements hunters out there, it is estimated that earning 100% completion could take you around 30 hours. This is based on how long it took for players of the original so this could fluctuate slightly.

With the Remake having some new content, your runtime could easily go up to 35 hours. Additionally, this would be even longer if you wished to aim for the platinum trophy.
