Resident Evil 4 system requirements revealed for PC

Resident Evil 4 system requirements for the upcoming remake have been revealed and they’re not quite as taxing as you may have thought.

Finally, the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake is nearly upon us. In fact, at the time of writing, it’s just over a month away. Happy days! So with the date fast approaching, Capcom has released the all-important need-to-know details for PC gamers.

What’s more, as reported by PC Gamer, the Resident Evil 4 system requirements for the remake are exactly the same as 2021’s Resident Evil Village. Meaning, if you were able to run away from Lady D and all her antics, you should have no problem here.

It will surely come as comforting news for Resident Evil fans on PC, that a level of consistency in terms of system requirements has been maintained.

Minimum (60fps/1080p, “Prioritise Performance”) 

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-7500
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4GB VRAM or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 for Ray-Tracing)

Recommended (60fps/1080p)

However, PC Gamer notes that according to the RE4 remake Steam page, it’s not detailed how much storage space will be required. PC Gamer predicts that you’ll probably need 40GB to 50GB. Which is similar to the Resident Evil 3 remake as well as Village.
