Omno will see you explore an ancient world of wonders with the help of a lost civilisation who’ll help you traverse the lush forests and barren deserts. A single-player adventure with more charm and heart than you can shake a stick at, Omno is sure to impress when it launches in Spring next year.

If you can’t wait that long then you’re in luck, as a demo has just launch on Steam. The demo promises to be a spoiler-free taste of the full game, so if you find yourself with some spare time on your hands, you can give the Omno: Prologue a whirl right now.

Created by Jonas Manke, Omno first made a splash on the scene when the game absolutely crushed its Kickstarter to raise a whopping €97,769 EUR. Thanks to its whopping success and its many backers, Omno is also set to come to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, as well as Steam.

Right now, the game is still in development following a recent delay. Over on Kickstarter, Manke recently updated backers with an idea of what’s to come, explaining:

“September will see me working on the puzzles some more (they do make a lot of work! Wow!), generally making the world prettier and more alive (this is a BIG task as well, as it is a main aspect of the game), making some additional performance and optimisation improvements, introducing ‘Explorer Stones’ to the world (a little more on that next month!), doing some extra work on new creatures, and maybe even starting work on a new trailer if I can fit it in, since it’s been a LOOOOONG time since the last one!”
