Eclipse Shotel Elden Ring Location

Players shouldn’t expect to find the Eclipse Shotel until the Elden Ring late-game with it being hidden on the Mountaintops of the Giants. Being far north of where players begin their journey down in Limgrave, it’s a long way to go.

The best starting point for the journey to get the Eclipse Shotel in Elden Ring should be by starting at the Altus Plateau then venturing through Leyndell. Players will also need to have unlocked the Grand Lift of Dectus or fight off Magma Wyrm Makar to take the tradesman’s entrance.

Leyndell is tough, full stop. Players need to be levelled with confidence in their character build to handle the narrow streets and countless enemies and difficult boss fights therein. Navigating through this maze will bring players to an elevator that they can use to gain access to the Forbidden Passage. This will in turn lead players to the Grand Lift of Rold, which is needed to gain access to the Mountaintops of the Giants.

So by some miracle players have made it this far, they will now need to reach Stargazer’s Ruins. Then head northwest from there to find a bridge that leads to Castle Sol, where players will need to enter the Church of the Eclipse. The Eclipse Shotel curved sword can be found on the altar of the church.
