Finally!

Xbox Will Be Revealing Next-Gen Games ‘Very Soon’

The next generation of console gaming is nearly here, and though we know quite a bit about what the Xbox Series X will have to offer in terms of specs, we don’t know so much about the games it will be able to run. According to Xbox top dog, Phil Spencer, that’s all about to change.

Over on Twitter, Spencer was asked how he and the team feel about the “eventual reveals of news games” and how the planning phase is coming along. Spencer responded that the wait for game reveals won’t be too long now…

He tweeted: “Reviewed plans yesterday [April 22] for continued sharing through launch. Team is doing great work and adapting. I’ve never been more excited about Xbox plans. We’ve heard you, you want transparency/authenticity. We plan to keep showing that way, next step is not too much of a wait (games).”

We already know the Xbox Series X will be launching with Halo Infinite, but as for other exclusives, it’s all a big mystery.

Whatever Microsoft has planned, it needs to live up to the upcoming console’s impressive specs. The Xbox Series X is sounding like a complete powerhouse, but the company is known for having exclusive games that aren’t really on par with Sony’s offerings.

Exclusive Sony titles from the last few years include the likes of God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Last of Us (plus the upcoming TLOU Part 2), Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted and more. This gen, Sony has absolutely killed it with exclusives – can Microsoft best them next-gen?
